About Me:
I have been a pioneer in Latin America for 47 years and hope to continue serving as a pioneer until the end of my life. I love teaching the Faith and tutoring study circles. Besides, tutoring 2 or 3 circles in Santa Cruz, every other week I trave 2 ½ hours to give a study circle in another cluster in the región. I enjoy writing and giving workshops on Moral Leadership or moral leadership capabilities. Since the Moral Leadership program was originally developed in Spanish by Nur University – where I worked for 17 years -- as time permits, I am gradually traslating some of the moral leadership capabilities to English and publishing them on Amazon. I also like to listen to talks and webinars related to personal growth and am especially interested in the dynamics of relationships, preparing myself to be a better spiritual partner and overcoming defects that contributed to the failure of my first marriage. I understand more fully when I share with others—in deep conversations about significant topics, or writing about what I am learning. In my relationships, I value truthfulness and authenticity above all else and strive for relationships free from blame and criticism. I want to feel that we are here for one another and can count on each other. I have 4 grown children—1 in the Dominican Republic, 1 in Central America and 2 in the US—to whom I am very close and whom I visit a couple times a year. I have a latent desire for adventure – visiting other parts of the world and trying new things. However, I prefer sharing that with others, and don’t take much initiative to do it on my own. I am in extremely good health--having both good genes and a healthy life style-- and expect to be active and serving for at least another 20 years.
